Let me take care of your boiler needs

I am a gas boiler breakdown, service and repair specialist, and have been installing and maintaining condensing gas boilers for over 3 decades. As a result of my experience in the industry, I can identify and restore your boiler to working order in the shortest possible time. I undertake annual servicing for most makes and models of domestic gas boilers. Once you have had your boiler serviced by me, I will send you an annual boiler service reminder letter, so you can make sure that you keep any warranties valid and your boiler efficiency at its best.

I can also provide you with power-flushing in accordance to B.S 7593:1992 standard.

Gas safety certificates for landlords

A gas safety check is an inspection on your boiler or other gas appliances in your property to ensure everything is operating correctly and safely. As a landlord, you are legally required to have all gas appliances within your property safety checked once every 12 months. You must also hold an up-to-date Gas Safe registry check (CP12). I am a registered and qualified heating engineer able to issue landlord's safety certificates. As part of my service, I will also send you an annual reminder for your landlord safety check. You can choose to have a stand-alone certificate or include a service with my visit.

Rely on me for:
  • A gas inspection of your heating appliances and its pipework
  • A copy of the safety certificate (CP12) for you and your tenants, including inspection results and recommendations, if they apply for you
  • Flexible bookings to find the most suitable appointment for you or your resident
  • Safety check reminders in 11 months' time so that you never need to worry about forgetting when it’s due

I can smell gas. What should I do?

If you smell gas in or around your home, do the following:
  • Do not use naked flames
  • Do not smoke
  • Do not use any electrical switches either to turn appliances, lights etc. on or off. This includes battery operated items
  • Turn off gas appliances and meter control valve - but only if it is safe to do so
  • Ventilate the property if it is safe to do so (i.e. open doors and windows)
  • Do not use electrical or battery-operated security entry systems when the engineer arrives
  • Call the National Grid Gas Emergency Services on 0800 111 999 to report a potential emergency
  • Contact the fire brigade, if necessary
  • Evacuate the building
If you suspect that a gas appliance may be faulty, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer. Gas safety in Great Britain has changed. CORGI gas registration ended in Great Britain on 31 March 2009. So, don't ask for a CORGI installer. Ask for a Gas Safe registered engineer. By law, gas engineers must be on the Gas Safe register. Always ask to see their ID card. Be gas safe.
